Pleased to meet you! I'm Mad Alex, from York, in the north of England, and this is my personal website. (That's ‘Mad’ as in a bit crazy — somewhat eccentric and prone to doing silly things!)
I am a software engineer by trade and an amateur DJ and promoter in my spare time.
I help run Bleed, a bimonthly gothic clubight at Burton Lane Club, and associated events under the banner of The Clot. (Join The Clot!)
I helped found, and am still marginally involved in, the Black Rose Ball, an annual gothic masquerade ball.
Once upon a time, for a birthday ending with a zero, I organized a one day festival called Dark Reverberations.
More clubnights in York, run by Mark and Gary. Happy House is goth focused with an 80s bias. Friends Electric is an 80s night with a strong goth and alternative bias. Some nights are a mixture of the two.
