DJ Ulf, yours truly and occassional guests play Goth, Dark Wave, Post Punk, New Romantic, Dark Electro, Mittelalter, Neofolk and other Alternative music every other month at York Burton Lane Club.
Unless otherwise advertised, doors open at 7:30pm and nights run until 1am.
York Burton Lane Club is at the Grosvenor Road end of Bootham Crescent. (Opposite where the old York football ground used to be.)
The closest public car park is Union Terrace; walk through the hospital grounds and across the footbridge over the Scarborough line. There is also limited unrestricted on-street parking around the venue, but beware nearby residents’ zones.
In the months in between Bleeds, we coagulate at our sit-down social nights, upstairs at The Artful Dodger on Micklegate.
The closest public car park is Nunnery Lane; walk up Nunnery Lane to the traffic lights, turn right, through Micklegate Bar and the venue is a few hundred yards down on the right, just after Ziggy’s nightclub.
Unless otherwise advertised, doors open at 8pm and nights run until midnight, although the bar downstairs remains open until 2am.
